These are the people who will be playing music. They will all be playing music on Saturday night into Sunday. They would like to tell you more about who they are and we see no reason to stand in their way.
Ska Skank Redemption
Showtime: ~11:00 p.m.
GENERAL PEPPER WANTS YOU – to join the Knights of Corneria!
Do you have what it takes? The guts? The skills? The infinite love for the Lylat system? Do ya, punk? Then WE NEED YOU. That monkey Andross somehow got off of Venom, and his attack on our world is imminent! Worst of all, it’s during Game On! Con!! I know! If that didn’t boil your blood already, his evil talking animals would destroy game tournaments in Starcraft 2, Mortal Kombat, Super Street Fighther IV, and more! They would lay waste to costume contests, trivia, and a Frenetic Fallout Marathon!
Not the Frenetic Fallout Marathon!
Sound like a planet worth defending now? That’s what I thought, soldier. But only show up if you think you’ve got what it takes. We don’t want any Slippy Toads yelling “FOX! HELP ME!” every five seconds. Those dark days are behind us.
So what are you waiting for? Join Ska Skank Redemption and Hatrick Penry in our quest to defend Game On! Con from Andross using the power of RAAAAAWWWWWKK (AND SKA)! If you do enough somersaults in the mosh pit, Star Wolf will undoubtedly wonder, “What the Heck?”
Love,
Ska Skank Redemption
Regardless of age or musical taste, Ska Skank Redemption has gripped audiences throughout Colorado and the West Coast with their unique and intelligent blend of Ska, Funk, Punk, Metal, and Jazz. With a live show that is sure to entertain, and seven of the most hard-working musicians in the industry, every town the band visits is left wanting more of their fresh, bombastic, in-your-face, and sometimes geeky sound.
Ska Skank Redemption began rocking Colorado very late in 2007 when it rose from the ashes of a previous group, Legitimate Idiot. Throughout its existence, the band has been fronted by primary songwriters Kyle Etges (Lead Vocals, Baritone/Alto Saxophone) and Mark Kinz (Lead Vocals, Bass Trombone), who bring explosive energy to the stage and a unique duality to their compositions. Further bolstering the horn section is Hannah Lewis (Trumpet) and Adam Ross (Tenor Saxophone), who bring forth rich harmonies, expressive counter-melodies, and a stage presence all their own. Sara LeFevre (Guitar) plays a central role in providing the crucial Ska rhythm, but also sets songs aflame with searing guitar solos and tasty, chocolaty Metal riffs. Providing the back-bone to every song and putting forth the band’s tight, rhythmic essence is Royal Langer (Drums/Percussion), who tastefully manages to fold some hip hop beats and complex fills into Ska Skank’s melting pot of sounds. Rounding out the rhythm section is Corey Golon (Bass, Backing Vocals), who lays down funky, driving bass lines, while also helping beef up the vocals on the front line.
Ska Skank Redemption is already a force to be reckoned with, but this is only the beginning.

Hatrick Penry is not a silly garage band formed by some punk kids. Each person in our band has a distinct passion for music that contributes to a unique and eclectic sound. You can go to our Facebook page to preview the music you will be hearing as well as download 7 of our original tunes for free!

Showtime: ~12:00 a.m. (midnight)
I love your rather strange facade.
It kinda makes me think of things,
Such as a baby eating strings (of spaghetti).
Yeah, it’s alright,
Cause it’s so fat, yeah it’s so fat,
It eats up all the buns and leaves the crumbs,
Then it eats the crumbs, cause it’s so fat.
Fat baby.
yo, kids. i’m the kind of guy that thanks his speakers, keyboard, mouse, computer, and ramen in his album liner notes. hopefully you guys dig my music cause i myself think it’s pretty rad. what’s the point of writing music you don’t like? see you on the dance floor!
