We need more Counter-Strike players.

(I am not volunteering.)

My complaint with the game is the same reason I dont play it. Its one of those games where you get this sad satisfaction that if you are good at playing it you get rewarded more money and can afford the best weapons, only to be dissapointed that it didnt transfer over between games. It wouldnt have killed them to keep weapons between plays, just make it stays the same otherwise. If you die, naturally you should start back at 1. I'll be willing to try and train to be CS worthy, but that game has more holes the swiss cheese in the video game world to me.

im confused. The game has holes? are we talking about 1.6 or source? because im pretty sure 1.6 is flawless. yes the learning curve is huge, but thats what makes it such an amazing game. Its one of those games that arn't very noobie friendly unfortunately. If u wanna start, u'll quit. U wont last. Its almost like its own cult. If u've played it since it came out, ur still with it and probably will continue to stick with it until valve releases something 1.6 sequel worthy like the rumored counter-strike 2. just sayin...

Unfortuanetly no matter how much you add or open up to the players it still has too many issues for me to even want to join the cult of CS. It never was a good game in my opinion, just a good game to waste time since there wasnt any incentive to replay other then repeative skirmishes. High learning curves arent a sign of an amazing game, it only proves how much time you need to spend ingame.

Relatively hard to say that considering the amount of glitchers and overall cheating there is, ontop of the fact that I've yet to meet too many people that get a sense of satisfaction out of a game that doesnt track anything or doesn't promote good players. Theres an overall unfairness in the games layout, but is "fair" by accounts that everyone is always at square one physically when you start. Not to hate, but it's not a tempting game unless im playing with friends who are around my skill level.
