(Well, that title couldn’t be less related to what I’m about to say.)

We were thinking that it’s been far too long since “Game On!” last held a tournament. Now, this is the part where I’d normally try to be entertaining for a paragraph or two and extoll on the virtues of whatever, but how about I just dispense with the nonsense and get right down to business, eh?

“Game On!” will be holding a FOUR-GAME TOURNAMENT on Saturday, August 1st. The theme, you ask?

Beating the ever-loving crap out of eachother:

Yessir, we’ve got nothing but fighters lined up for our next get-together and yessir, we’ll be giving away money and prizes and yessir, “beating the crap out of eachother” can indeed be a theme (wanna’ fight about it?). Heck, we might even throw around some streamers** and even pick up a cake* just to show you HOW committed we are to running with this whole “theme” malarkey***.

[*The cake is a lie. / **So are the streamers. / ***Not committed at all.]

So! Here’s the lineup:

    Soul Calibur IV (PS3) – 2:00 P.M.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) – 3:30 P.M.
    King of Fighters XII (PS3) – 6:00 P.M.
    Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (PS2/3) -8:00 P.M.

In the event of a tournament running long, the start of the tournament immediately following will be postponed.

You can find the rules for each game on our Events page under the brand-spankin’-new Rules tab.
